When it comes down to it, there is really only two Motorcycle Headsets you should have to choose from when you already have a good comfortable helmet and you want to install Bluetooth.

The Sena SMH10-10 Bluetooth Motorcycle Headset:

More info and hundreds of great reviews on the Sena SMH10-10 here.

Sena 10 Series. This is the gold standard the best or the best available for 2016. This system can be added to an existing helmet; it is mostly integrated within the helmet and is low profile. Very sleek. There are three variations on this model. The Sena SMH10R which is integrated for a full face helmet. The 10U, which sits on the front side next to your cheek bone, when fitted to a flip up helmet such as Shoei, Arai and Schuberth helmets. And then we have the 10S which is a jog dial system which is very easy to use with your gloves on but not quite as low profile as the 10R. These all have a half a mile of range, are water resistant of course and you can pair with up to four riders simultaneously. Link any of these with your GPS, your music and the mics operate on voice activation (VOX). These are great base level platforms but manufactured at very high level quality. The new Sena 10 series now all use Bluetooth version 2.40 which includes two new important features, much longer battery life (12 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby use). These systems can be configured using the Sena App and they feature the 10S speakers which is much better HD audio.

We can only really recommend either the Sena SMH10-10 Check current price on Amazon here.. Which is probably the most popular (and for good reason), and you will be surprised at the great price we can get it for. Or:

The Sena 20S-01 Bluetooth Motorcycle Headset:

This is the best premium grade communications unit on the market. It has all the features of the 10 Series systems but comes with double the range – one mile. Also you can integrate up to eight riders rather than just four. But it only comes in a jog dial version with an antenna (which is necessary to make use of the extra distance range). This in my opinion is the best available for an add on to an existing helmet.

Sena 20s - Bluetooth headset for Motorcycle Helmet

Or if you want a bit longer range and a few more features (including Bluetooth 4.1) then go for the Sena 20S-01 Check price on Amazon here. Up to eight riders/pillions can connect and the range is extend to 1.5 miles.

My Recommendation:

The best seller is right here on Amazon Sena 20S-01 Motorcycle Bluetooth 4.1 with HD Audio and Advanced Noise Control.
